Redefining Specialty Coffee
Blue Bottle Coffee, established in 2002 in Oakland, California, has become a prominent figure in the third wave coffee movement, emphasising high-quality, single-origin beans and meticulous brewing methods. The brand’s commitment to freshness is evident in its practice of roasting coffee to order in small batches and shipping within 24 hours, ensuring optimal flavor and aroma.
Over the years, Blue Bottle has expanded its presence globally, with cafes in major cities across the United States, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China. Each location reflects the brand’s minimalist aesthetic and dedication to creating spaces where customers can savour meticulously crafted beverages.
In 2017, Nestlé acquired a majority stake in Blue Bottle, aiming to support the brand’s growth while maintaining its artisanal approach to coffee. This partnership has facilitated Blue Bottle’s expansion into new markets, including the opening of its first Singapore location in August 2024 at Raffles City Shopping Centre.
Blue Bottle’s menu features a variety of coffee options, from pour-over and espresso drinks to cold brew and New Orleans-style iced coffee. The brand also offers brewing equipment and freshly roasted beans for customers who wish to recreate the Blue Bottle experience at home.
